Holiday Raimond Jones is an actor, dancer, gymnast, and sikl aerialist, who was born in Greenwich Village at St. Vincent’s Hospital on the hottest day of the summer in 2005. She grew up in Hamilton Heights, with a view of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River. During her childhood, she spent her summers in the country on the Eastern Shore of Maryland overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. She participated in summer theater camps plus became an avid swimmer.
In elementary school she studied Flamenco and Ballet at Ballet Hispanico in New York City. In middle school she pursued gymnastics and competed in the U.S. Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs circuit. Then she combined her athletic and artistic skills and focused on trapeze and aerial silks at Bridge for Dance.
While attending Manhattan School for Children for elementary and middle school, she had many opportunities to perform in musicals and plays under the direction of a skilled theater teacher. Notable productions and roles include Frenchy in Grease, Mollie in Annie and ensemble in The Wizard of Oz
As a Drama Student at LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and Performing Arts she performed in the ensemble in the Senior Drama Festival’s production of Rent. In her senior year she was featured as Ego in a student written and produced play, Emotions. Other LaGuardia roles include Mistress Quickly (Henry IV, Pt 2), Miranda (The Tempest), Torvald (A Doll’s House).
Holiday is a BFA Dramatic Arts Candidate at The New School, School of Drama, New York City, Class of 2027.
